How to get Celebrities to come to a Charity Fundraiser?
I’m hosting a 600 person charity event at www.bedny.com in NYC in Septermber. Does anyone know how to get A-listers to actually show up? I have been to many where they said they would show up, but just sent a check instead. If you have any good tips for making them keep their word I would really appreciate it.
Celebrities are lemmings. If you can get one or two A-listers to confirm, more will come. More than that, you will need one of them to talk to the press before the event. Maybe ask one of them (via his/her agent) to be your unofficial spokesperson. But you’ll need to select someone who completely believes in your cause. Good luck!
