web hosting rss
get my own rss feed for my podcast?

i currently use blogspot for my rss feed and i dont like it due to limited space. i host my own website for the cast. is there a way i can get the rss feed own my own site so i can skip sites like blogspot?

if it dont make sense my bad i am really bad with all this web site stuff

The easiest way to create an RSS feed is to use software. A podcast is simply an RSS feed that contains an audio file in the enclosure field. The software I would recommend is FeedForAll (there is a Windows and a Mac version). The following will walk you through the process of creating a podcast using the software – http://www.feedforall.com/podcasting-tutorial.htm (there is also a built in wizard).

You can download an evaluation version from http://www.feedforall.com

Best of luck!

hosting a party food

hosting a party food
My friends children have disgusting table manners, we are hosting a party, how do I keep them out of the food?

One of my best friends has 5 children, 9, 7, 5, 3 and 1. They play well with my children and we get together often. The problem is at snack time her children are allowed to dig through the snacks(anybodies) without washing first(or asking), and without using plates. They also will take over an entire bag of grapes, chips, cookies, etc. and just walk around with it repeatedly shoving the food in their mouths and then reaching back into the bag. They frequently have runny noses, which they wipe on their hands, you see my dilemna? I always try to get my childrens snacks first but other guests sometimes are not so lucky.

What can I do to keep snack time from becoming a free-for-all without appearing to be a control freak??

I think you should be in charge of the snack table, that way you can guarantee it runs smoothly. Make up some general rules and hopefully your friend will get the hint but in a subtle way. Have the children line up at snack time and tell them that each one must get a napkin, a plate and you will place the snacks that they choose on their plates. Then have a designated area where they are to sit and eat. Don’t allow it to be a free for all with kids eating everywhere and taking the food with them from the snack table. You serve them and keep plenty of napkins handy. That way each guest will get some snacks and your friend’s kids won’t hog everything. This is a good way to show them how they should act at a party. If their mom won’t teach them, you can give them a valuable lesson that hopefully will stick with these kids.
