Does anyone know of a free FREE web hosting site that lets me use PHP?
I once used something for college a year or two ago, and i forgot what it was called, but I chose a domain like … something.zxq.net.
Anyone know of a site that lets you choose a domain similar? Ive searched and can’t find it.

Wanted to sign up for 000webhost but it had a cross next to PHP so presumable doesn’t support it on the free acount.

Now that I need access to PostGreSQL, can I go to 2a web hosting company (they provide PHP, PostGreSQL and MySQL) and use my domain name (I can supply this under “existing domain” field) and select “build a package” to add PostGreSQL support on my current domain name.
If yes, what kind of bandwidth I can expect???
Will I get access speed of the domain name.
Or will I get access speed that belongs to the new web hosting company I’m about to build my package on.

As you may know a domain name is just a name, not a real website. If you are going to create your website: 1- Buy a domain name. 2- Buy a web hosting service to provide your online space and enable you to get your website online at your purchased domain name.
You can get your domain from company A, and get your website online with company B.

What web hosting service is the best choice to host my new website?
I seen a list of the top 10 web hosting services at HOSTAZ.com. naming lunarpages, IXhosting, hostmonster as the top 3. Now im not too familiar with what everything does- that comes with the hosting, but one thing that is different is that lunarpages and hostmonster’s POP is unlimited and IXhosting is 2500.
Now im wondering what that would mean to me and the website I intend on building?
