How do you Change File Permissions using Yahoo Web Hosting Control Panel?
For most hosting servers, you can just right click a file/folder, go to “properties” and change the numeric value to 777.
For Yahoo Small Business hosting, however, no matter how many times I do that, it doesn’t change. It goes back to having no permissions.
Yahoo’s help forum offers no help at all except one little line of code, but doesn’t tell me where to put it or how to use it.
I need one folder, called “uploads” to be writable in my wp-content folder of my Wordpress cms. That’s the only folder I need. Yahoo makes it a pain in the butt.
Please, help!

I have a godaddy account and its hosted and everything and im still having trouble editing the page.
ive gonee to my hosting control center, and ive uploaded the html file, but what do i do next to make it show up when i go to my web address?! please help!
Did you name your file index.html?
Is it placed in the root of your website?
What are you using to edit the page?
What is your web address (if you don’t mind sharing) so we can see? Do you see *anything* when you enter your domain name?
Manashosting cheap website hosting and domain free?
I had a real bad experience with manashosting.com and manashosting.co.in ,They offer a cheap package which I fell for . My site went down for almost 40 times in last 2 months ,finally i decide to quit them. Be prepared to open a support center for creating tickets with them if you register with them. What is government doing to control this small fake service providers over the net?
There are already 100s of bad reviews about this hosting provider. Just Google for simple keywords like manashosting reviews and you will know what I am talking about.

What is a good web hoster? I used to use Yahoo! but the SQL with them is very limited, so it became bothersome.
I would love a hoster with a Control Panel to quick install forums/whatever/whatever, but if not then full SQL rights and everything. Hoping for semi cheap, if not, I would just host it myself.
