I’m trying to block my little sisters from downloading useless podcasts and radio streams they use in itunes. It clogs up our network and as many times as they’ve agreed to stop podcasting they continue to do it.
What ports can i block? What additions can i make to the hosts file? Basically what can i do to stop this?
In iTunes click on Edit->Preferences->Parental Control
You’ll figure it out from there.
(Also, “podcasting” is the act of making a podcast for others to enjoy; i.e. uploading it. Obviously you’re attempting to stop them from downloading podcasts.)
I’m looking for quirky names for a podcast.
It’s going to be about alternative schooling, and hosted by teens.
We want it to sound interesting so other teens will listen.
Any ideas?

Should there be a limit on how often one nation can host the Olympics?
I’ve been watching all the disappointment (and in some cases outrage – Chicago 2016 Facebook group) at Chicago missing out on the Olympics in 2016 to Rio.
Am I really the only one who would have thought it was outrageous for a US city to host the Olympics again so soon after Atlanta?
I mean c’mon, the US has hosted the summer games on what, four occasions? A couple of other nations have had two, then a bunch with one and a heckuva lot with zero.
Part of the magic for me is the sharing around and seeing different places as a backdrop to the Olympics
So – I pose the question, should there be some sort of minimum time between olympic hosting for each nation?
No! The Olympics should be in Athens Greece every four years.
