Whats an offshore server/host?
I was looking at warez sites and can see that they are still up and running and not being taken down, but there illegal. Is this because they are on an offshore host for the site? Like in Asia?
If I had a warez site hosted on an offshore server would that be legal?

I can tell you that many folks use offshore servers for many different illegal things.
Would that be legal?
It would be both unethical and illegal to host a warez site that provided access to software someone had not paid for.

At picnic today, the host took a nearly empty ketch-up bottle and swished some water in it! How cheap?

He wanted to get every last drop of ketchup out and had no shame doing it in front of all the guests. The guest that used it had quite a soggy hot dog bun!
This perplexed me since the host has lots of money!
I think I did that once making meatloaf or something, but I wouldn’t do it in front of company. I can’t call it cheap or tacky because to each his own. I simply am not that frugal so I would never do something like that in front of people. Plus if I throw a picnic I make sure to have tons of extra everything on hand…

Can I set up a temporary web site without paying to register a domain or pay any other fees?
I want to set up a site where people can go to participate in a survey I want to do for a school project. I don’t want to pay anything and I won’t need the site for more than a few days. I need for the people doing the survey to be able to input there answers on the page. I know almost nothing about web hosting so please help! Thanks!
