how can i upload an existing mysql database to yahoo web hosting?

I have an existing databse of roughly 249 tables with hundred sof thousands of rows of data. I am trying to get this uploaded to our mysql databse through yahoo hosting. Is there any scripts or programs that I can load to do this?

nope. not really

do a dump of your data and tables from your current mysql database to a txt document

Yahoo should offer you an interface (ie phpmyadmin) to access your mysql database. if they dont, then download that invaluable program and install it in your webspace.

then upload (or import) your dumped data to your new mysql database.

file hosting script
Is it possible to execute Windows Script Hosting procedures in a web page script.?

IE doesn’t seem to support wsh objects and methods. I keep getting errors like “Object required ‘WScript’” and “ActiveX component cannot create object ‘GetObject’. Is there some libraries you can include to IE.
If not is there a way to call a .vbs or .js file from a web page?
If it can be done via AciveX, how??? All the sample codes not working on my ‘puter. As far as the security issues, the site this is for is username/password protected and only will have about 8 users.
Re: ActiveX, the following code does not error it just does nothing.

If you want to run the script on your server, you’d simply use ASP.

If you want to run a script on your client’s machine, you’d have to use Active X. It’s a huge security fault to allow a website to run a script on a client’s machine.

free hosting script php
I’ve created a website with Dreamweaver and installed Apache, MySQL and PHP?

How do I preview my website with the PHP script? I have a free host, but it doesn’t allow PHP.

if you have apache running. Open up your browser and type:
http://localhost/website_dir/
where website_dir is where you have index.php or index.html
hope this helps. This is done on your computer, if your webservice doesn’t allow it, it wont show up if you put it in your folder on that web server.
